Anthony Jones - AHN Entertainment ReporterLos Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) - Eminem and Rihanna are at the top yet again on the Billboard Hot 100 with their hit collaboration, “Love the Way You Lie.” The single spends its third week at #1, thanks to its airplay gains and yet another week of digital sales of over 300,000 (it’ll hit the 2 million mark next week).
The video for the single, which stars the superstar duo along with Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan, premieres this week. But it may not help. Taylor Swift could possibly overtake the rapper and R&B princess for #1 next week with “Mine.”
Katy Perry is at #2 yet again this week with “California Gurls,” featuring Snoop Dogg. She also has another single in the top 10 this week, “Teenage Dream.” The “California Gurls” follow-up and title-track to her upcoming album climbs all the way up from #20 to #7 this week, thanks to 183,000 digital copies sold this week (“California Gurls” moved another 167,000). Perry currently has three tracks in the top 10 on iTunes, including the newly release ballad “Not Like the Movies.”
Taio Cruz is at #3 for another week with his dance single “Dynamite,” while B.O.B. and Hayley Williams remain at #4 this week with “Airplanes.” “Airplanes” also crosses the 3 million mark in sales this week as well.
Enrique Iglesias climbs up to #5 this week with his latest single, “I Like It.” It’s his first top 5 single on the Hot 100 since 2001’s “Hero.” The hit single, off both his new album “Euphoria” and the “Jersey Shore” soundtrack, crosses the 1 million sales mark this week.
Mike Posner moves up one to #6 this week with “Cooler Than Me.” Meanwhile, Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars drop down a few spots this week to #8 with their hit single “Billionaire.”
Rounding out the top 10 this week is Usher. He has both the #9 and the #10 spots on the Hot 100 this week. His latest single, “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love” with Pitbull, is at #9 this week. His former #1 “OMG,” with will.I.am, is at #10 this week.
