North says: For the second straight year Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter tops the 2010 Forbes Cash King List raking in a cool $63 Million. A busy year for Jay-Z included the release of his last album The Blueprint 3, investments in the 40/40 Club/Sports Bar chain, the New Jersey Nets (who are moving to his hometown of Brooklyn. NY in 2012) and the Broadway play “Fela”. Add in his highly successful Blueprint 3 tour that brought in $1 Million per concert and you see why he’s been #1 for three of the past four years.

Rounding out the top 5 are: Sean “Diddy” Combs at $30 Million, Aliuane “Akon” Thiam at $21 Million, D’Wayne “Lil’ Wayne” Carter at $20 Million and Andre “Dr. Dre” Young at $17 Million.
