Wyclef Jean recently revealed his intention to run for President of Haiti. According to emails sent to the associated press Jean is currently in hiding after receiving numerous death threats over his potential candidacy. This all comes before Jean knows if he can legally run for office. Haiti's electoral commission has still not ruled if they will exempt Jean from the residency requirements.

Wyclef Jean recently revealed his intention to run for President of Haiti.
